Winter Skin Tips

The cooler months can be tough on your skin. Cold temps and low humidity levels result in dry air that draws moisturiser away from the skin.  There are a few things you can do to help make your skin enjoy the winter months, like:

  1. Avoid long, hot showers - even though they feel amazing in winter, a hot bath or shower can strip your skin of important oils.  If you can, use warm or lukewarm water instead, including when you wash your face and hands.
  2. Keep on moisturising – morning and night - if you clean your face in the shower then make sure you put your moisturiser when you get out vs. leaving for it
  3. Don’t forget the sunscreen – crazy as it may sound when the sun is shining in winter you need to still protect your skin.
  4. Keep hydrated – it can be super hard to drink enough water in the cooler months, but your skin will love you for it.
